Fracture Care

After a fracture and prolonged period of immobilization (casting/splinting), patients are often referred to physical therapy. Patients receive treatment designed to restore joint mobility, strengthen adjacent musculature and restore function to the arms and legs. Treatments include joint mobilization, passive and active range of motion and restorative exercises including strengthening, gait instruction and functional skills.



It is well known that cancer treatments can cause significant disability and major problems with activities of daily living which impact cancer survivor’s quality of life.

Nearly 75% of cancer survivors experience cancer related fatigue which may last from weeks to years.
